Estragales is one of several ‘Galic’ kingdoms in the western mainland. It was the kingdom of king Canan who was poisoned trying to unify the mountain tribes. His son Canan the Second took over but died in the war with Nanteleod.

The land broke of from Escavalon after the death of Nanteleod at the Battle of Netley March in 508. It is now ruled by King Lak, son of Canan the Second, and grandson of King Canan.
