Fashion and dress was dictated by the Pyramid of Power which was the Feudal System. Clothes provided information about the status of the person wearing them. In Uther's time there were strict rules about apparel but in the Anarchy Period it's less strict. The type of clothes that men and women could wear was enforced by tradition rather than laws but they prohibited sumptuous clothes to all but the greatest nobles and dignitaries in the land.

Overall much of the Cymric fashion from the end of the Uther period is still prevalent, together with Roman fashion that still is around in cities. As always, Timeless fashion is found around strange courts and in mystic lands, but almost never seen in the courts of mortals.
