Sutton, or South Farmstead as it is known to locals, is a rather old manorial compound in Hillfort hundred. It was granted to Glanmor after the Battle of Carlion. When Glanmor died in 457 the manor was inherited by his son Alwin.

Alwin held the manor until his death in 463, during the Night of the Long Knives. His son Gorfydd inherited the manor and in his turn held it for many years until his death at the hands of his fellow Bannerman, Sir Maelgwyn.

The manor is now held by Gorfydds eldest son, Sarcyn, who has sworn to avenge his father.

The farmland is mostly pagan, but still holds a rather famous old stone church. It was built many years ago by the Roman Church in an attempt to christen the pagan population. It never succeeded then, but it's slowly gaining track. Were it not for the fierce pagan faith of Gorfydd, it would have gained the upper hand a long time ago.
