Castle DuPlain is one of the early fortifications in [[Salisbury]]. It was constructed by [[Robyn]], Dominus [[Sorviodunum]] in late 450’s as a way to defend against common bandit raids from [[Hantonne]] and as a precautionary defensive line against [[Silchester]]. The castle is a Motte and Bailey without any waterworks. It holds a permanent garrison of troops supplied by local lords. == Important events == 460: The Adventure of [[The Rules of Hospitality]]
