Castle DuPlain is one of the early fortifications in [[Salisbury]]. It was constructed by [[Robyn]], Dominus [[Sorviodunum]] in late 450’s as a way to defend against common bandit raids from [[Hantonne]] and as a precautionary defensive line against [[Silchester]].
