"Gadzooks, Awan" said the threadbare knight to his squire, staring into the darkness of the [[forest]], "this is the third time I hear that music and the sounds of frolicking this very night! Watch me now, for this time is shall not fail this Adventure." He stood up by the litte camp fire, eager like a hound just before the hunt. Awan gave his knight a wary look, because he could see were this was going. "Sire, surely this is some work of the Faeries of else the Devil himself. Take my advice, stay you course, Sire, lay down by this warm fire and rest your weary bones." "Confound my weary bones" cried the knight. "Yeah, Awan, I do oftimes grow weary of this Quest, but now, this is a new Quest, and by ancient Custom there is no shame in a knight take up a new Quest such as this. And", he added with a hungry look in his gaunt face, "by the sound of it, this is an Adventure who's completion will give me much satisfaction and [[Glory]], should I be found worthy to complete it." He looked dreamily into the gloom, added "Don't forget the harp, Awan" and strode of. As the knight disappeared into the thick undergrowth of the Perious [[Forest]], his squire mournfully started the break camp, for no matter how stupid things Sir [[Padern]] did, Awan always followed him werever he went. That what was he had sworn to do, and that what was he was going to do, come hell or high water. Or, as it befell, some [[Faerie]] Feast, for Sir [[Padern]] did find the feast, but also lost his way.
