Castles
Different castles are common in different periods of the Arthurian world.
Early periods
In the early periods very few stone castles remain, the few that do are a few stone forts left over from the roman times and a few notable exceptions such as the white tower of London or Castle Terrabil (in Cornwall, not to be confused with the other Terrabil). The roman art of stone building has been lost to the ages.
The most common defensive structure of this age is the Hillforts, and a few advanced Motte-and-Baileys can be found.
