The attempt on the Queen's and her daughter's life has left much of nobility in Logres in an uproar. But war and politics is hard and the country is too handicapped to make any decisive action. Morgan is shipped up to the north to marry her intended husband King Uriens of Gorre at Castle Gaiholm. Present at the wedding is her mother, the former Queen Ygraine and her entourage, King Lot of Lothian and King Nentres of Garloth and many noteworthy tribesmen and knights from the north. Also Margawse and Elaine, Morgan’s two elder sisters, are present with their children, so it is a great family reunion for the queen.
