Heartblade
The Heartblade is an artifact sword traditionally belonging to House Anarawd.
The blade, though strong and sharp as the finest steel, shines like silver. The hilt, though equally strong, seems of the finest worked gold. A pair of enormous heart-shaped rubies are set into the hilt, one on either end.
For its jewelry value alone, the Heart Blade would fetch a price of £20. Its actual worth, of course, is inestimable.
Abilities:
People tend to be drawn to the sword, as if it calls out to people, asking them to pick it from it’s place on the mantle. The feeling is mesmerizing, causing most people to stop whatever they are doing and take a step towards it before they shake the feeling.
If the sword is touched or drawn at any time, speak with GM.
In game terms:
Whenever the sword is first beheld by someone with Honor roll Generous or Selfish.
If Generous fumbles, wins or crits, speak with GM. If the roll fails, nothing happens. If Selfish fumbles, wins or crits, speak with GM. History
It is said that Neillyn was the first and last member of his family to carry the family heirloom Heart Blade, since his love for his wife was so strong his sword took upon magic properties.
When Neillyn and Anna died (both of old age, or so it is said), the sword was hung on the wall by their son Gorthyn. Gorthyn did not see himself as worthy of carrying his father sword

The Prophecy of Hate
“If ever this sword, while within a circle of traitors, tastes the blood of one who is without hatred, it’s power for caring shall wither, and a new power of unyielding hatred shall grow in its place. The blade shall become a tool which may only be mastered by the most jaded of hearts.”
