A Dawn Will Come

[[File:{Template:Image|link=]]

This song is an ancient burial song that can be found sung all over Nadder valley.

Tradition holds that when someone is being buried, and you can hear the song, you must put down what you are doing and join the song. This can have a chilling effect as the song spreads all over the valley, from village to village at times. Local villagers can be quite upset if they find that someone does not join in, it’s been the case of more than one case for the local jurors.

Shadows fall
Steel your heart
The dawn will come.

CHORUS:

The night is long
And the path is dark
Look to the sky
For one day soon
The dawn will come.

The shepherd’s lost
And his home is far
Keep to the stars
The dawn will come

(Chorus)

Bare your blade
And raise it high
Stand your ground
The dawn will come

(Chorus)
