The Three-Eyed Giant was a monster fought in Salisbury in the year 486 at the behest of Merlin. He was struck down by Sir Maelgwyn.
The Three-Eyed Giant had a generally human countenance but was much larger in stature - he was big enough that, with one hand, he could lift a goat the size of a horse and wield a tree branch as though a massive club.
In one of his eye sockets he had two separate eyes. From his head emerged horns like that of a stag.
