Tisseberrie Hill
Just outside Tisbury manor lies the ancient Tissberrie burial mound. It has been the burial place for the Cellydon house for as long as anyone can remember, following ancient burial traditions that only stays amongst the priests and priestesses of the kin. The mound is said to be watched over by the local minor diety, Ol’ Tiss.
The mound has been silent and unused since Cadwallon was buried there in 463 by Aurelius Ambrosius, for the services he did for the country. When Aurelius laws of the land came to pass in Salisbury, tisseberrie like most other ancient burial sites in Salisbury stopped being used. The law was to make sure that ancient burial sites were not disturbed.
