Lady Ellen finally swears fealty to King Nanteleod after her knights manages to secure evidence that the "proof" or her sons heritage is proven false. The mystery of who did it still remains.

Meanwhile, the Knight of Ribs has returned, and is haunting the old town of Imber. And once again he has lured poor Elad away with promises of love and revenge.
