First Blood

Disaster strikes the British royal armies as they march up north to break the siege of Eburacum and free the King of Malahaut. As the army marches towards the city in haste, saxon troops fall over the unprotected lines of marching footmen who panic. Only the iron-clad knights manages to rally and take retreat.

But all’s not lost, as Merlin arrives late at night and turns the tide. He advises Uther to fall upon the sleeping and drunk Saxons, and a great victory comes.

After the battle, four young knights from Salisbury, tasked with breaking the curse they caused seeks out the Loathly Lady. Not knowing what price she asks for her gifts.

• The British Army is ambushed and is almost wiped out.
• Merlin arrives and heals the army, enabling a counterattack.
