~ Unproven Commoner ~
Ysfael the Bailiff
Ysfael was a Unproven Cymric Commoner from Salisbury. He had no lord at the time of his death.
He was the son of an unknown man and an unknown woman. He was unmarried. He has no sons or daughters.
He died in 463 A.D. He was 86 years old.
Description
Ysfael was a commoner that held the role of Bailiff in the hundred court of Hillfort. The position as Bailiff made him pretty much the highest ranking commoner in all of Hillfort hundred, and even the nobles respected his authority in the Hundred court. He was appointed as the Bailiff by Rudderch, Dominus Sorviodunum many years ago.
He was usually silent, and let the lords do their work, but when voices are raised, he hammered his staff on the ground and called for silence.
He died in the Night of the Long Knives, ironically of old age moments before the event.
