Huntland is a county in the kingdom of Logres.
This land has often been raided by saxons but was once green and pleasant. Only thanks to the former alliance with Duke Ulfius did they manage to stave of some of the more devastating attacks. The cities are Roman Christian, the countryside is Cymric Christian. In 497 the Lord unexpectedly swore Homage to the King of Est Seaxe, causing much confusion in Logres.
The county was last ruled by one of the few surviors of the Infamous Feast, Count William who has a strong interest in the old ways of the learned men and is patronizing an old roman library in Cambridge. The library has books on the Trivium (Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric) and the Quadrivium (arithmetic, geometry, music, and astronomy), and philosophy, theology, law, and medicine.
Locations
- Beale Valet (or “Beautiful View”) is a famous old-style castle upon the Dubglas River. It is the seat of the Count’s power.
- The city of Cambridge guards the crossing of the Cam River, and is the highest point of navigable river.
